• CBCT: - The First stand-alone dental college in the state to set up a CBCT unit, providing advanced imaging technology for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Sains Malaysia University (SMU) for student and staff exchange programs. These collaborations offer far-reaching benefits for our postgraduate students, providing them with opportunities for regular visits to these institutions. Such interactions significantly enhance their learning experience and professional growth.
• Our department is proud to be associated with Malabar Cancer Center (MCC) Thalassery. The only tertiary care oncology centre in the Malabar area. Our postgraduates receive exposure to world-class oncology treatment protocols, with a special emphasis on the preoperative dental needs and treatment of cancer patients. They also observe and assist in post-operative procedures for maxillofacial rehabilitation including different types of prostheses and implant-based rehabilitation.
• Our college has a tie-up with the Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala, to provide complete dentures to individuals under Below Poverty Line(BPL) and senior citizens under the “MANDAHASA” Scheme. This collaboration makes our college the only institution in Malappuram involved in the project. Significantly countless patients and our PG students gain in valuable practical experience and exposure to different patient needs.
